Photographs from Dark Lyricism opening

Looking back at the opening – Dark Lyricism
Yesterday, we opened my exhibition "Dark Lyricism" at GOMA, and it was wonderful to see the paintings come to life in the eyes of the visitors. For me, painting is never just about what we see, but mainly about what we take away with us.
"For me, Dark Lyricism is not about hopelessness, but about the tension between light and shadow, between what we know and what we carry within ourselves."
Each painting tells its own story – and some of them have a QR code that will take you to the inspiration behind their creation.
All the paintings on display are available for purchase – if you feel that one resonates with you, it can become part of your home.
Exhibition: February 5 – March 15, 2026, Czech Gallery of Modern Art - goma.cz
Accompanying program:
Guided tours: Tuesday, February 10, and Wednesday, March 11.
Evening readings: Thursday, March 5, at 6 p.m.
Thank you to everyone who came—your reactions give the paintings new life. Come if you want to experience a moment of silence, tension, and the stories that the paintings tell.

Highlights Exhibition

09 January 2026 - 07 February 2026
Twenty-six gallery, Wien, Schwetrgasse 4

The Highlights Exhibition opens the new year with a carefully curated selection of some of the strongest, most striking and most beloved works by the gallery’s artists.

Serving as a tribute to the diversity, quality and distinct artistic voices that define the gallery, the exhibition spans a wide range of contemporary positions — from abstraction and expressive portraiture to folklorically inspired visual worlds and pop-cultural references.

Together, the presented artworks form a compelling overview that leaves a lasting impression.

The exhibition invites visitors to rediscover selected works and to experience the artistic energy that shapes the gallery’s program at the beginning of the new year.

The biggest art fair in Austria

The Art&Antique art fair in Vienna is the largest in Austria and one of the most important in German-speaking countries. I am very pleased that Twenty-six gallery represented me for the umpteenth time.

The atmosphere of the Hofburg ballroom complemented the modern art, and I am looking forward to the next Wikam Art Fair in March.
